2. These Terms
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through our website at https://singhsrecipe.co.uk (“Website”), via WhatsApp, or through any direct sales channel operated by Singh's Recipe Ltd, including email and social media direct messages.
By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. By accessing or using our Website, you also agree to these Terms in respect of your use of the Website.
We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Terms for your records. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not place an order or use our Website.
3. Our Products
Singh's Recipe Ltd produces premium Punjabi cooking sauces, marinades, and pastes under the Singh's Recipe® brand.
Product images on our Website are for illustrative purposes and may not exactly replicate the appearance of the product received. All product descriptions, including ingredient and allergen information, are accurate at the time of publication and are provided in compliance with the Food Information Regulations 2014.
If you believe there is any discrepancy between the information shown on our Website and the information on the product label, please do not consume the product and contact us immediately at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com.
We reserve the right to update, change, or discontinue products at any time. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights in respect of goods already purchased.
4. Ordering
Orders can be placed through our Website or directly via WhatsApp or email. By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods from us. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including where goods are unavailable, where we suspect fraudulent activity, or where an error in pricing or description has occurred.
Website orders
Where an order is placed through our Website, you will have the opportunity to review and correct your order before submission. We will send an order acknowledgement to your provided email address promptly following submission. This acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute our acceptance of it. A binding contract between us is formed when we confirm dispatch of your order or separately confirm acceptance in writing.
WhatsApp and direct orders
Where an order is placed via WhatsApp, email, or another direct channel, we will confirm the order details to you in writing, including the products ordered, the total price, and the delivery details. A binding contract is formed only once we have confirmed the order in writing and payment has been received in full.
5. Pricing
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable charges as stated at the time of ordering. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed at the time we accept your order.
If we identify a pricing error on an order you have placed, we will notify you before processing payment and give you the opportunity to proceed at the correct price or to cancel your order with a full refund.
6. Payment
We currently accept payment by bank transfer. Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched. If payment is not received within five working days of order acknowledgement, Singh's Recipe Ltd reserves the right to cancel the order.
Singh's Recipe Ltd does not store bank account or payment card details. We may introduce additional payment methods in future, which will be clearly communicated on our Website.
7. Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only. Delivery timeframes given at the time of ordering are estimates only. Whilst we make every effort to meet estimated delivery dates, they are not guaranteed.
Singh's Recipe Ltd is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, postal services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, including adverse weather conditions, industrial action, or force majeure events.
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if delivery is not made within 30 days of order confirmation (or such other date as agreed), you may have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund.
8. Your Right to Cancel
As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason, subject to the sealed food exception below.
Food product exception: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Regulation 28(1)(b), the right to cancel does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons where they have been unsealed after delivery. If you have opened or unsealed any Singh's Recipe® product after delivery, your right to cancel will not apply.
If you wish to cancel an order of unopened goods within the cancellation period, please notify us in writing at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com before returning any items. Return postage costs for a valid cancellation are the responsibility of the customer unless we have agreed otherwise.
Where a valid cancellation is made, we will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that the goods have been returned to us, whichever is earlier.
9. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms. Goods must conform to their description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for their intended purpose.
Short-term right to reject: If goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have the right to reject them and receive a full refund within 30 days of delivery.
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, or not as described, please notify us as soon as reasonably practicable at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com. Where possible, please include photographs of the issue.
Approved refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return, using the original payment method. Return postage costs for confirmed faulty or incorrect goods are our responsibility.
10. Food Safety and Allergens
Full ingredient and allergen information for each product is displayed on our Website product listings and on each product label, in compliance with the Food Information Regulations 2014. The 14 major allergens required to be declared under Annex II of the Food Information Regulations 2014 are identified in all product descriptions and labelling where present.
Our products may be produced in an environment that handles common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, and spices. It is the responsibility of the customer to read and check all ingredient and allergen information before purchasing and consuming any Singh's Recipe® product.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary requirement and are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, please contact us at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com before placing an order.
Nothing in this clause excludes or limits our liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1987 or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
12. Wholesale and B2B
These Terms apply to consumer purchases only. For wholesale or trade enquiries, please contact us at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com. Separate terms apply to all B2B and wholesale orders.
By placing a wholesale or trade order with Singh's Recipe Ltd, you confirm that you are acting in the course of business and not as a consumer. Consumer protection legislation does not apply to B2B transactions.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our Website, including text, images, photographs, logos, trade marks, and brand assets, is owned by or licensed to Singh's Recipe Ltd. Singh's Recipe® is a trade mark of Singh's Recipe Ltd.
Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any content from our Website is prohibited without our prior written consent. Requests should be directed to singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com.
14. Acceptable Use
You may use our Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our Website to breach any applicable law; use automated tools to scrape or harvest data; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; transmit unsolicited advertising; misrepresent your identity; or disrupt Website operation.
15. Limitation of Liability
Subject to the exceptions below, our total liability to you shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods to which the claim relates. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; any breach of implied terms under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Complaints
If you have a complaint about any of our products or services, please contact us at singhsrecipeuk@outlook.com. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within two working days and to provide a resolution within 14 working days.

17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
